Rafi Kharis – About

Interdisciplinary artist and educator. Classically trained violinist turned fusion string player and vocalist exploring sounds not limited to folk, soul, jazz and contemporary; making it a mission to discover and build a repertoire of global grooves.

Rafi’s embodied style of teaching draws from her background in yoga and dance. Lessons include stretching and warming up muscle groups, breath work, chanting, vocal warmups and using the body percussively.

She can help you: prepare for exams like ABRSM, RSL, GCSE, A Level, etc.; learn to jam along to your favourite songs; explore your own artistry and express yourself through instrument and voice; build confidence and connect to your own innate and unique creativity.

This site posts articles and educational resources, showcasing Kharis’ design and illustrative work. Welcome to the kharismatrix!

Make music theory fun and accessible with bespoke visual aids like chroma wheels, personified notation and more! All ages and abilities welcome. Get in touch 😊🎻🎶
